How to make an online booking.

Thank you for considering us to provide your physiotherapy treatment. We make sure all our new patients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of.

On pressing the “make my booking” button, you will be directed to the online booking platform. Choose which type of appointment you need. For your first appointment choose Initial for either private, ACC or pelvic floor please. You will be able to search for days and times that suit you best for your physio appointment. It will ask some basic information to complete the booking. We do not give the information you enter to any other party.

Once your booking has been made an email confirmation and an electronic patient consent & information form will be sent to you. It is ideal that this form is completed and submitted (electronically) before you attend your appointment.

For your convenience, we have an online booking system that is able to book all appointment types and process payment in one easy step at anytime.

IMPORTANT: We do expect 24 hour notice for any cancellation or reschedule. If you are unwell please reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.

What to expect at appointment.

During your first visit:

  • A physiotherapist will ask you heaps of questions about the reason you have come & review your medical history.

  • A physical examination and tests will be done nicely. Wear comfy loose-fitting clothes, ideally shorts or singlets. We do have spare shorts available.

  • The physio will explain the diagnosis and help you choose options for treatment.

  • It is important to us that you feel comfortable to ask any questions regarding your treatment so please feel free to do that at any time-we love it. You do not have to have needles if you are scared of them. You are always welcome to bring a support person with you.

  • You may be referred for an X-ray or ultrasound if this is necessary, this is just to clarify diagnosis and guide prognosis and rehab.

  • Typically, we do some hands-on treatment, give you some exercises, some advice, and self-management tips.

  • Preferably a follow-up is booked at a time that is most convenient for you before you leave your appointment.

Every client enjoys confidentiality, privacy, honesty, and respect. If you feel that at any time these have not occurred, please do not hesitate to let us know immediately.

After the appointment

  • After the initial appointment it is not uncommon to feel more tender and uncomfortable due to tests and probing.

  • This is a necessary process to get to the bottom of the problem and the discomfort/pain should settle over time.

  • Stick with the plan and take all advice given.
